When social media becomes the main way politicians communicate official information, could it be considered some kind of censorship if they decide to block a journalist?
Sweetblock is a digital protest against censorship by politicians in social networks inspired by protests done by brazilian journalists during our military regime, who published cake recipes when their articles got censured.
Cakes were automatically generated based on the user's twitter profile, but to make it easier for internal development of the campaign, we also developed an interactive tool we used to make cakes to share the project.
